Shimano are a world-leading supplier of bike components and has an extensive service network meaning you can have any issues fixed whether you are, you can check their service network here.
You will be covered by Shimano's 2 year warranty on parts such as the motor and speed sensor, INTENSE will work with you and your closest Shimano Center to get you back riding again as quickly as possible.
Ebike range can vary for many reasons inc the elevation ridden, the rider weight, and even the air temperature, also not every ride is the same. Our eBikes have enough range for a 2-hour max power evening ride when you want to ride a couple of trails in your local spot, or enough for a full day riding/exploring when you are happy to put more effort in when pedalling up/along the flat.
This is down to personal preference. Our carbon models are lighter, and the frames have more flexion/traction. Alloy is heavier but frames are extremely rugged. There is no wrong choice here, it's only about your preferences and budget.
At this time INTENSE has no intention to make their eBikes available as a frame-only product.
Our current eBike range is designed with a 29” wheel on the front and a 27.5” wheel on the rear (279/mullet/MX set-up) as we believe that this is the perfect wheel configuration for this style of bike. The larger front wheel helps you to roll over most trail obstacles. eBikes are heavier than normal non-eBikes and the smaller rear wheel really helps when you want to turn (especially on tight turns) and helps to give the bike a more nimble feel.
Only the battery and charger supplied with the bike are the ones allowed. Failure to do so will void your warranty.
The Tazer MX is distributed by our partners at PARTS EUROPE through their dealer network. You can find your closest MX dealer via this page on our website.
All our eBikes comes with a spare set of keys, but also the number code contained in the manual contains a code that you need when purchasing a new key from the oficial ABUS website.
INTENSE specs the spring rate that would suit the majority of riders for that size of bike. If you require a different spring let us know and we will help you find the right rate for your weight.
