Mille Johnset Joins INTENSE Factory Racing: A Thrilling New Chapter for 2025

INTENSE Factory Racing is proud to announce its first addition to the 2025 downhill team: the incredibly talented Mille Johnset. At just 23 years old, Mille has already established herself as a formidable competitor, with an impressive résumé that includes two podium finishes in 2024. Her aggressive riding style, sharp racecraft, and undeniable talent make her a perfect fit for the INTENSE team as they gear up for an exciting season ahead.

“Mille’s talent speaks for itself, and we are confident she will be a key asset for the program this year,” says Jeff Steber, INTENSE Cycles Founder. “We are committed to supporting her development and achieving great results together. Mille will be equipped with the latest INTENSE M1 downhill bike and cutting-edge gear, ensuring she has every advantage on the world’s most challenging courses.”

The addition of Mille marks a shared vision of excellence and progression for both her career and the team’s goals. Olly Morris, IFR’s Performance Director, shared his enthusiasm: “As a true racer, Mille is the perfect fit for INTENSE Factory Racing—happy, goal-driven, and fully committed to achieving her potential. I’m already enjoying working with her and look forward to having her positive energy around the pits.”

Born in Norway, Mille grew up on the slopes as an experienced skier before transitioning to the world of downhill mountain biking. Known for her resilience and strong family connections, Mille’s personality matches her skills—down-to-earth, dedicated, and fiercely competitive.

Mille herself is excited for this new chapter:

“I’m super grateful to partner with INTENSE Factory Racing and work alongside such a thoughtful and forward-thinking team,” says Mille. “The bike has been feeling so good, and I’m excited for the upcoming season, surrounded by awesome people and an amazing setup. I can’t wait to start the season with the entire team in my corner!”

Mille will make her debut on the INTENSE M1 DH bike at the Crankworx races in New Zealand before heading to Europe for the DH MTB World Cup in Poland. Her arrival is a major step forward for the team, which continues to innovate and empower riders to reach new heights.

INTENSE Factory Racing is a team with a rich history, vibrant spirit, and a renewed commitment to supporting its athletes. Under the ownership of Joe Breeden since early 2024, the program has returned to its roots, fostering a culture of passion, performance, and progression.

Welcome to the family, Mille! We’re excited to see you on the podium in 2025 and beyond.
