2021 DH World Cup Race Dates

It may be only February but we are already dreaming about World Cup downhill racing… and we can’t wait.

Running from late April through to mid September the 2021 World Cup series sees six rounds and also the all important World Championships in August. It is a series stacked with absolute classic venues: Maribor, Fort William, Leogang, Les Gets, Val di Sole, Lenzerheide and Snowshoe.

It seems a long time ago now, but back in 2019 we saw one of the greatest (if not the greatest) conclusions to a World Cup series that there has ever been – with Loic Bruni and Amaury Pierron pretty much tied on points it all came down to Danny Hart… and we all know what happened then! It was an amazing race. Hopefully this year we’ll be seeing INTENSE Factory Racing’s Aaron Gwin take the win on home soil… no pressure!

The World Cup rounds are quite evenly spaced out this year, with on average 3-4 weeks between each race and no back-to-back races. Once again the World Championships is squeezed in, this time in mid-season in August, and although it won’t affect the downhill racers, there is also the Olympics to think about too.
