Bike got delivered day before Christmas. Everything looking good until I opened the box. The drive side drop-out was mounted in a bad way so the frame was clearly damaged before it was sent to me. Very poor quality control if you ask me. I immediately put the frame back in the box and went to the intense website to let them know what I experienced. No reply yet, also not very pleasant.

le vélo est réactif, vif , incroyablement leger (11kg) et bien equilibré .
la position tres en avant est un peu fatiguante pour le bas du dos et pour les epaules , mais sans plus .il y a une multitude de jolie petits details tres bien fini .
je n'ai fai spour le moment qu'une seule sortie de 52 km . et je suis passé par certain endroits que je n'arrivais pas a franchier avant .
j'en suis tres content .

amazing bike to ride, really is a dream bike and was everything I was hoping to get on my new ride... until last week the rear triangle become loose and now I discovered my top link is not holding the bearing well and need replacement :(

What an incredible bike for me from Intense!!!! You promised not too much when stating...that Sniper XC Elite will take "riding to the next Level"!

I used to ride over the last years only XC race hardtails and was very convincent About their Performance ….but when starting with Alpcrosses in the last years I got sometimes Problems on Rough Trails and steep Terrain.
So I was Looking for an XC bike which can share the Features of an XC Hardtail and - at the same time - the Performance of Trail bikes . A pure Trail bike was never an Option for me due to higher wheight and too much Suspension which is not in line with my riding/climing in the mountains.
Beginning of this year I discoverd at the Internet an article in the bike journal on Sniper XC Elite with the title " In the crossline of Speed" and was so much enthusiastic About the Overall Performance of Sniper. I thought … thats's it what I am Looking for ...having a bike with which I can share XC Race and Trail riding. When riding the last few days on my home Trails with new Sniper it was really so exciting for me of the new experiences... and I was recalling your Statement "next Level riding" in Rough Terrain with higher Speed - without any fear but confidence- what I can really confirm !!! Congratulation to Intense having built such a marvelous bike which I can recommend for all XC Hardtail riders who want to stay to XC Race but Need sometimes ...a bike enabling them to go down steep Rough Trails with high Speed and having still nearly all Advantages of an Trailbike . So I am very proud riding today an Intense bike and I understand now why Intense is "Cult" !!
Thanks to all the great staff of Intense and of Course to Jeff Steber for their great Performance ...you all have done a great Job to put "riding into a new dimenson " making People like me so happy...riding is my life…. Best regards Pille

das Sniper hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllen können. Die Verarbeitung des Rahmens wirkt sehr hochwertig, vor allem wenn man sich den Rahmen mal von innen ansieht. Auffällig und sehr bequem sind die Zugführungen im Rahmen, beim Wechsel ist kein gefummel notwendig und alles ist sauber aufgeräumt. Intense hat es geschafft ein MTB zu entwickeln das vollkommen leise über die Trails jagd, kein geklappere von Kette, Züge ect. ... TOP! Das Fahrwerk arbeitet hervorragend, schnelles ansprechen im ruppigem Gelände, kaum Wippen beim pedallieren und kein Durchschlagen des Dämpfers bei voller Auslastung. Das angenehmste ist aber das niedrige Gewicht, Größe S, 10,8kg mit Pedale! Insgesammt vermittelt es den Eindruck ein leichtes Renn XC Bike zu fahren aber mit den Vorzügen eines reinem Trailbikes. Die Geometie lässt einem Spaß und Sicherheit in anspruchsvollen Trails haben. Bin gespannt wie das Sniper auf lange, dauerhafte Belastungen reagiert. Ich konnte keine Probleme bei den Komponenten feststellen, auch der Dämpfer/Umlenkung leisten ihre Arbeit. Intense hat im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Herstellern gut geschulte Leute in der Werkstatt, bei der Montage wurden alle relevanten Teile und Verbindungen gefettet. Überragende Präzision bei den Laufrädern! Konnte keinerlei Seiten und Höhenschlag im Zentrierständer feststellen, TOP! Sniper wird seinen Preis gerecht, klarer Kauftipp!
